i have,but only in middle 80's...used to rack up on tuesday nights...every tuesday night!cannot remember the last time i shot a meaningful game?

All the time in the early 90's. 8ball, 9ball, 3ball, straight pool, billiards (3 ball, no pocket tables...you name it. Pretty much anything but snooker. On all size tables. Played waaaay over my head $$$ wise but usually won more than I lost. Not enough to justify the sweat though. (or the travel)

Still enjoy the game recreationally & will occasionally play for drinks.

We used to have a running 3 ball game at a bikini bar that I hung out at. There was about 15 of us total but usually only 4-6 on any given night. One night 10 of us were there at the same time & it got fuckin' crazy. For those of you unfamiliar with the game.....Everybody antes up and shoots 3 balls by themselves for low score.....one tie all tie and re-ante. We were playing for $10 a pop and on our 11th rollover. I was mid-pack and drilled two on the break & had a gimme leave to card a '2'. It held up until the last motherf*cker got lucky & dropped all 3 on the break. As a 20 year old kid....that $1,100 swing stayed with me for a looooong time. I even went on tilt playing 9ball on the regulation tables for about 2 months & that was my best game.

played mucho nine ball way back when.......even played a few games with a movie star......lol............the guy that played grady seasons in the color of money.......KM...i used to back him ...he was pretty good to me
